He attended the University of Victoria and obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree, majoring in Biology. After his undergraduate studies, Taylor gained a wide range of experience in various settings including mining, oil\/gas, construction, paramedic, a recovery house for men, and the school district. Taylor went on to attend McMaster&#8217;s University to obtain a Master&#8217;s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
